Pingram is on the official MCP registry. Install it in VS Code from the GitHub MCP gallery and let GitHub Copilot send email and SMS and check delivery on your account.

Pingram is now an official MCP server. The listing is io.pingram/mcp on the GitHub MCP Registry. VS Code and GitHub Copilot install it from that gallery. You do not paste a server URL by hand.
Pingram MCP already let Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor use your account. This is that same hosted server. Copilot in VS Code can now install it the way it installs any other registry server, then use your Pingram account from the editor.
What you can ask Copilot to do
Copilot can already draft a send call. It could not see whether that message went out, or set up the account around it, without you opening the dashboard and copying IDs back.
After you install Pingram and sign in, Copilot Chat in Agent mode can:
- Send a test email or SMS to an address or number you name
- Check delivery status for the tracking ID that send returned
- Create, list, and update webhook endpoints
- List and add sender domains and email inboxes
- Search, buy, and list phone numbers
- Create and manage broadcasts
- Read and update US A2P 10DLC brand and campaign registration
- List your accounts, or create another one, and run those tools on a specific account
You sign in with the same Pingram account as the dashboard. Copilot does not see your password, and you do not put an API key in the chat or the repo.
Try it:
Send an email with Pingram to me@example.com, subject “Copilot test”, notification type
copilot_test. Then tell me the delivery status.
Send an SMS with Pingram to +15551234567 saying “Copilot test”, notification type
copilot_test, and report the delivery status.
Install in VS Code
- Open Extensions (Ctrl+Shift+X, or Command+Shift+X on Mac).
- Search
@mcp pingram. - Install Pingram and confirm that you trust the server.
- Sign in to Pingram when the browser opens.
You can start from the listing instead: github.com/mcp/io.pingram/mcp.
Open Copilot Chat, choose Agent, and ask for the test send above.
The gallery install uses https://mcp.pingram.io (US). If your account is in Canada or the EU, point the server at the matching URL and sign in there:
https://mcp.ca.pingram.io # Canadahttps://mcp.eu.pingram.io # EUOn Copilot Business or Copilot Enterprise, an admin has to enable the “MCP servers in Copilot” policy before this install works. Copilot Free, Pro, Pro+, and Max are not gated by that policy.
Add it by hand
In .vscode/mcp.json or your user MCP config:
{ "servers": { "pingram": { "type": "http", "url": "https://mcp.pingram.io" } }}Use your region’s URL in place of the US host. Sign in when VS Code asks.
The same registry listing is what GitHub Copilot uses in Visual Studio, JetBrains, and the other Copilot editors that browse the MCP registry. Setup docs cover those clients plus Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor.
Sign up for free if you don’t have an account yet, then install Pingram from the gallery.
