✉️ SMTP

Pingram now supports SMTP, giving you the flexibility of our API through an SMTP interface.

SMTP settings

  • Host (US): smtp.pingram.io
    • Canada: smtp.ca.pingram.io (Paid add-on)
    • Europe: smtp.eu.pingram.io (Paid add-on)
  • Port: 465 (TLS)
  • Username: notification type (e.g. auth_emails)
  • Password: your Pingram secret API key (pingram_sk_...)

The SMTP username is used as the notification type.

Getting Started

  1. Get your SMTP credentials from the dashboard
  2. Configure your system to use Pingram’s SMTP

Features

The SMTP maintains most of the features of the REST API, including:

  • Attachments
  • CC and BCC, Reply-To, From and To addresses
  • Processing replies
  • Tracking
  • Logs
  • Analytics

Limitations

  • The SMTP cannot send to other channels like SMS
  • It cannot receive emails
